Royal Flush Poker Hands
This poker hand is the best hand of poker. Ranking number 1, it has 5 cards of the same suit in a consecutive numerical order. From 10 through the ace, that is, 10, Joker, Queen, King and the Ace.
Straight Flush Poker Hands
This is the second strongest poker hand. It has 5 consecutive cards of the same suit in increasing numerical value. Like, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. While the Royal Flush is made up of 10 through to Ace, Straight Flush is made of any numerical values in a consecutive order. Only a stronger Straight Flush or a Royal Flush can defeat the weaker Straight Flush. For example, if you have a Straight Flush consisting of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, then only a Straight Flush of 7, 8, 9, 10, and Joker can defeat the former one.
Four of a Kind
You have four cards of the same numerical value in the four different suits. The fifth card is of the highest value on the table or in your hand. For example, 6, 6, 6, 6, and 8. The sixes are of all the four suits and the 8 is of any of the four suits.
Full House Poker Hands
This poker hand contains three cards of the same value in three different suits and two cards of the same value in two different suits. Let’s say, three queens and two 3s of different suits. If two players have a Full House, the player with the higher value of the bunch of 3 will have a win. Example, King of Hearts, King of Diamonds, King of Clubs plus 3 of Clubs and 3 of Spades.
Flush
Five cards of the same suit in no particular order. The person with the highest numerical value card will win. For example, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 of Hearts.
Straight
Five consecutive cards of increasing numerical value in different suits. The ace can be lower than 2 or higher than the King. It cannot be both at the same time. Like, Ace, 2, 3, 4, 5 in different suits. Another way can be, 10, Joker, Queen, King and Ace of different suits.
Three-of-a-Kind Poker Hands
Three cards of the same value in different suits makes this poker hand. Two more cards with the highest numerical value available besides the three of a kind complete the poker hand. For example, 4, 4, 4, and 2, 3 of different suits.
Two Pair
Two different sets of cards of the same numerical value each along with a fifth card. The fifth card is of the highest value available besides the two sets. 7, 7 and 5, 5, plus 4 of different suits.
Pair Poker Hands
Two cards of the same value in different suits make this poker hand. The other 3 cards belong to other suits having the highest numerical value besides the two. Let’s say, 5, 5 and 7, 2, 8 of different suits.
High Card
One highest ranking card in a set of 5 cards. Example: King, 2, 3, 4, 5. Here, the King is the highest ranking card among all. This is the lowest ranking poker hand among all.
